Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')(FOIA)

Thank you for your email dated 12 April 2012 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police.

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked: 

Could you please supply me with data held by Northumbria Police or its agents that relates to accidents involving vehicles or pedestrians that occurred on or near (within 100 metres of) Stamfordham Road, NE5.

If you could include:
- when and where the accidents occurred
- injuries suffered
- the names, ages and address of those involved in the crash
- the number of fatalities

I am interested in the period going five years from today.

It should also be noted that collisions can occur where officers have not attended.  There will be instances where details are simply exchanged between the parties.
