Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')(FOIA)

Thank you for your email dated  18th May 2012 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police.

As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.

You asked: 

I would like to know details of all crimes committed in the S1 Foot beat of Newcastle City Centre (E6 Area) during the dates/times shown below.

I require to know only the type of each offence and the exact location of each offence within the Foot beat;

We have now had the opportunity to fully consider your request and I provide a response for your attention.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Newcastle Area Command of Northumbria Police.  I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police. As discussed and agreed, sexual offences have not been included in the search parameters of this request.

I have decided to disclose the located information to you as follows.

Please note the crimes were reported as occurring between the times specified above.  Some of the incidents  were reported as occurring over a longer period of time (in some cases a few days). 
Therefore we can't confirm whether they actually occurred at the times specified.

With the above in mind please see the attached below which answers your request.
