Provision of information held by Northumbria Police made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the 'Act')
Thank you for your e mail dated 1 July 2016 in which you made a request for access to certain information which may be held by Northumbria Police
As you may be aware the purpose of the Act is to allow a general right of access to information held at the time of a request, by a Public Authority (including the Police), subject to certain limitations and exemptions.
1.Could you provide me with the number of crime reports made in the following weeks, which were marked, tagged or flagged as possible hate crimes, broken down by marker or tag used.

2.Please could you also provide a breakdown by type of crime reported.

Following receipt of your request, searches were conducted with the Corporate Development Department of Northumbria Police. I can confirm that the information you have requested is held by Northumbria Police.

This data has been collated using the date the crime was reported. It may have been recorded/created as a crime at a later date.
