Group fail to pay restaurant bill

Police are appealing for witnesses after a report that a group of women left a Newcastle restaurant without paying.

It happened between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, December 18, when a group of five women left Pizzeria Francesca at Manor House Road in Jesmond without paying their bill.

They left in a white Ford Focus travelling towards Grosvenor Road.

Four of the five women are described as follows:

1 - White, aged in her early 20s, short with average build and medium blonde hair, she spoke with a local accent.

2 - Black, aged in her mid 40s, broad build, with black hair

3 - White, aged in her mid 50s, short with a large build, she spoke with a gruff voice and had long blonde hair - she was driving the Ford Focus

4 - White, aged in her late 30s, medium height and large build, she had blonde hair and spoke with a local accent.

Police are appealing for anyone who recognises the description of the women or who has information about the making off without payment offence to contact police on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 1120 18/12/14, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
