Tools stolen from van

Police are appealing for information after tools were stolen from a van in Blyth.

Between 3pm Wednesday, December 31, and 11am Friday, January 2, thieves broke into a van parked in Percy Street South.

They stole a number of tools including a blue Makita drill, a chipper machine, two boxes containing drill bits, two hand drills, two grinders and a 110v spit drill.

Enquiries are ongoing into the theft and officers are appealing for anyone with any information into the incident to contact them on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 506 020114.
