CCTV released after shop theft

Police are appealing for information after a shop theft in Blyth.

Between 8:30am and 8:40am on Saturday, October 11, perfume and batteries were stolen from the Wilko store in Bowes Street.

Enquiries are ongoing and police are releasing images of a woman they want to speak to in connection with the theft.

Anyone who recognises her is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, quoting reference 438 111014 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The appeal comes during Northumbria Police's Operation Soundwave, aimed at tackling opportunist thieves and burglars across the force.
