Car damaged in Alnwick

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged in Alnwick.

It happened between 9am and 7.30pm on Friday, January 9, when a car was parked on South View, Lesbury.

A sharp instrument has been used to scratch the paintwork of the side of the car, causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.

Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Truscott said: "Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing and we're appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact us.

"Acts of damage like this will not be tolerated and we have extra officers out on patrol in the area."
