Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a man missing from the North Tyneside area.

Kenneth Nessworthy went missing from his home in Dudley on Thursday, February 5.

The 57-year-old left his address at around 8.30am saying he was going to Barclay's bank, at Manor Walks, in Cramlington. Enquiries have shown Kenneth did go to that bank at around 12.25pm, however, he failed to return home and was later reported missing to police.

Kenneth is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with balding grey hair. He was possibly wearing a black Cragghoppers waterproof jacket or a black and grey waterproof jacket and jeans.

Officers are growing concerned for his welfare as he was reported to be acting out of character when he left.

Enquiries to trace Kenneth are underway and police are urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist the investigation.

Anyone who has seen Kenneth or may have information leading to his whereabouts are asked to contact police on 101, extension 69191, quoting log number 738 05/02/15.
