Car stolen in burglary

Police are appealing for information after a car was stolen in a burglary in North Tyneside.

The break-in happened between 7pm on Saturday, February 14, and 1.40pm on Monday, February 16, at an address in Denewood in Killingworth. The burglars stole keys to a car before stealing the vehicle - a Silver Volvo S40 registration B10 ACM.

The car was involved in a collision in Station Road in Wallsend yesterday - Monday, February 16, at around 2.05pm. No-one was injured in the collision.

Officers are carrying out enquiries and appealing for anyone who sees the car or has information about the burglary to get in contact.
