Dog theft in Sunderland

Police are appealing for information after a dog was stolen in Sunderland.

At 6.30am on Sunday, February 15, two men broke into the rear yard of a house on Pensher Street in the city centre and stole a miniature Yorkshire Terrier.

The dog was later found by a member of the public on St.Marks Road and returned to it's owner.

The men are described as being under 5ft 10" tall, both were wearing dark clothing. One of the men was wearing a hat and the other had a hoody on with the hood pulled up.
