Racist incident in Newcastle

Police are appealing for information after a racist incident in Newcastle.

Between 10:30pm and 10:45pm on Tuesday, March 10, a man made a racist comment to another man outside of the House of Tides restaurant on the Quayside.

The offender then got into a taxi with two other men and a woman before leaving the area.

The victim then reported the offence to police.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them on 101 ext 69191 quoting reference number 371 11/03/15.
