Purse theft

Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a purse from a pushchair in North Tyneside.

It happened between 11am and 11.15am on Sunday, August 30, in Northumberland Square in North Shields.

The owner left the purse, a black Radley wallet type purse with a pink dog logo on the front, on top of the pushchair and then later found it was missing. It contained cash and cards.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything is asked to contact police.
