Arrests after disorder in Blyth

Police have arrested six men after disorder at the Blyth Spartans vs Darlington 1888 football match at Croft Park yesterday.
At 5:34pm on Monday, December 28, we received a report that a group of people had caused damage inside the Masons Arms pub in Plessey Road.
Officers attended and found a number of windows had been smashed and one person had been assaulted and taken to hospital with a head injury.
Enquiries were carried out and six men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. They are all currently in police custody.
The arrests were made in the Tyne Tunnel area after a coach carrying Darlington supporters was stopped by officers.
