Man assaulted in Blyth

Police are appealing for information after an assault in Blyth.

It happened between 7.30pm and 7.50pm on Saturday, January 9 when a 24-year-old man was approached by two men and assaulted in Ravensdale Grove.

The man was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a broken jaw.

The two offenders are described as white men, both of stocky build and around 5ft 10" tall. They were wearing black clothing with black thermal hats.

Enquiries into the assault are ongoing and anyone with information to help is asked to contact police.
