Fatal Collision renewed appeal

Police investigating a fatal collision in Northumberland at the end of last year are continuing to appeal for witnesses.

The incident happened between 2.30am and 2.55am, in the early hours of Saturday, December 19, 2015.  It involved a collision between a pedestrian and an Audi car in the westbound carriageway of the A69 near to Haydon Bridge. The pedestrian, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A blue Corsa car is believed to have been doing a U-turn in the middle of the road shortly before the collision.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this or saw the Corsa at this time to contact police.
