Indecent exposure in Wallsend

Police are appealing for information after an incident of indecent exposure in Wallsend.

It happened between 8.15am and 8.19am on Wednesday, February 10, when a man exposed himself to two twelve-year-old girls in Saint Peter's Road.

The offender is described as a white man, aged in his 20's and was wearing a grey jogging style tracksuit with a black hat.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact police.

Wallsend Neighbourhood Inspector, Mark Storey, said: "We're appealing to anyone who may have been in and around Saint Peter's Road yesterday morning and who may have information to help to contact police.

"We have extra officers in patrol in the area carrying out enquiries and speaking with people to offer reassurance."
