Lost drugs in Sunderland

Police are warning people of the dangers of taking medication that is not prescribed to them after drugs were lost in Sunderland.

The drugs were reported missing at around 9.30am this morning, (Saturday, February 20), when a prescription containing a quantity of methadone that a man had with him was lost as he travelled on a bus travelling from Silksworth to Sunderland.

Officers in Sunderland are warning anyone who comes across them to be on guard as this drug is dangerous, potentially fatal, if taken by anyone it is not prescribed for.

If you do find the medication, or knows of its whereabouts, you should hand it in to police straight away.
