Burglary in Stocksfield

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Northumberland.

It happened between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday, March 12, when an offender broke into a house in Apperley Road, Stocksfield, through a downstairs window.

Nothing was stolen during the burglary but damaged was caused to a window and patio door.

Enquiries into the burglary are underway and police are keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information.

Officers are in the area carrying out enquiries and speaking with residents to offer reassurance.
