House burgled in Kenton

Police are appealing for information after a burglary in Kenton.

Between 3:30pm and 4pm on Tuesday, March 29, a burglar broke into a house in Kenton Lane while the homeowner was in the rear garden of the property.

He searched the house however nothing was stolen.

Around the time of the burglary a man had knocked on a number of neighbouring doors asking for 'John'.

We would like to identify this man as he may have information about the burglary.

He is described as being white, around 5ft 11ins tall and of skinny build. He had a tanned complexion and a mousey coloured goatee style beard. He was wearing a black balaclava style hat (that did not cover his face) and a black coloured coat with the hood up.

Enquiries are ongoing into the burglary and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 794 29/03/16.
