Arrest after man attacked in Town End Farm

Police investigating an attack in Sunderland that saw a man suffer a serious slash wound on his face have arrested a man.

On Saturday, April 2, a 28-year-old man was attacked with a knife in Town End Farm after being approached by three men.

He sustained a serious facial injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released on police bail.
