Wetsuits stolen in Newcastle

Police are appealing for information after a number of wetsuits and diving equipment was stolen in Newcastle.

Between 8pm Sunday, May 15, and 7:30am Monday, May 16, thieves broke into a van parked in Mowbray Street.

They stole around £1200 worth of equipment including -

1 x Excel medium tall black with a blue internal panel at the chest area

1 x Alder medium tall grey with a red fluffy panel inside

1 x Alder XL Stealth black with red arms

2 x Alder large  black with red arms

6 x Alder medium with red arms

4 x Alder small black with red arms

4 x Excel junior black

1 x rectangular plastic box containing around 20 pairs of surf booties various sizes – all pegged together in pairs

Gloves in a small red bucket– All Alder - 4 x adult small and 6 adult medium – all pegged together in pairs

Enquiries are ongoing into the theft and anyone with any information, or anyone who is offered the items for sale, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 171 16/05/16.
