Damaged boat

Police are appealing for witnesses after a boat was damaged in Northumberland.

It happened at moorings at Seaton Sluice Harbour, in Blyth overnight between 10pm on Wednesday, June 8, and 7am on Thursday, June 9. 

Offenders approached the boat moored near the Melton Constable pub and loosened the ropes mooring the boat making it insecure and it has been damaged with scratches to the boat.  Those responsible then made off unseen.

Police are appealing for witnesses anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
