Suspected stolen bicycles recovered

Police investigating bicycle theft have recovered four suspected stolen bikes in North Tyneside.

Officers carrying out enquiries following the theft of a bicycle from Benton have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of theft, he has been released on bail.

As part of enquiries a house was searched and four bicycles seized, officers believe the property had been stolen.

Officers are asking for help from the public to identify the owners of the following bicycles:

Silver Coloured GT Aggressor XC 2 mountain bike

Silver and Black Apollo Transition folding bicycle

Green Raleigh Max mountain bike

Pink Coloured bicycle, make : ZEG, suspected model: Pegasus City Bike.

Anyone who believes any of the bikes may belong to them is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 133 23/06/16.
