Collision in Blyth

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Blyth.
At 5:58pm on Monday, August 8, a black Ford Transit collided with a 43-year-old man outside the old Fire Station on Cowpen Road.
The man suffered serious head and leg injuries and was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
He is currently in the RVI in a stable condition.
Enquiries are ongoing into the collision and anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 899 08/08/16.
