Hebburn Neighbourhood Policing Team took part in a community open day  last weekend.

On Saturday, officers from the team, along with some of Northumbria Police's Special Constables and Volunteer Police Cadets, went along to Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue's Community Open Day at Hebburn Fire Station.

The team met those who went along and got involved in the activities on offer.

And, Police Dogs Ziva, Felix and puppy Quinn demonstrated a variety of their skills including search and obedience.

One of the team even managed to catch a speeding driver AKA The Stig!!

Sergeant Matt Hough who was at the event said: "It was a brilliant day with lots of people asking us about the work we do. Lots of children, and adults, were trying our hats on and sitting in the police car! We had loads of fun and are looking forward to being part of the open day again next year."
