Vehicles broken into in Druridge Bay area

Police are appealing for witnesses after vehicles were broken into in the Druridge Bay area of Northumberland.

They happened on Thursday, September 23, between 5pm and 6.30pm, a car and a motorbike were parked on the road in Druridge Bay, Hadston and a third vehicle, a car, was parked on Shore Road in Cresswell.

Offenders smashed the windows on the two cars and stole a jacket and a pair of jeans. Thieves forced ope a box on the motorbike and stole two motorbike jackets and a pair of glasses.

The offenders then left the area unseen.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are also asking drivers to be vigilant and to report any suspicious behaviour in these areas. Neighbourhood officers are also carrying out extra patrols in the area.
