Police are appealing for information after a lorry was stopped for dangerous driving in Northumberland.
At around 9am on Monday morning police received a report that a red and white tipper lorry was driving dangerously on the A69 carriageway from towards Newcastle.
Officers attended and stopped the vehicle as it reached the A1 where the driver of the lorry was arrested.
A number of vehicles were in the area at the time of the incident as it was during the Monday morning rush hour.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the lorry driving erratically that morning as they may be able to help officers with their enquiries.
The lorry nearly collided with a number of vehicles as it travelled eastbound on the A69 and anyone involved in a near miss with the vehicle is urged to contact officers.
Anyone who thinks they can help should contact police by calling 101 quoting the reference 182 10/10/16.
