Thefts from two vehicles in Alnwick

Police are appealing for witnesses following two thefts from vehicles in Alnwick.

The offences involved two secured Ford transit vans both parked overnight in nearby Alnwick streets between 5pm on Saturday, November 26 and 10am on Sunday, November 27.

One van was parked on the Cornhill Estate in Alnwick and thieves got away with a Makita Drill set, Dewalt Drill, Makita circular saw.

They targeted a second vehicle parked in Coopers Close and stole a Paslode nailgun, Milwaukee radio, Milwaukee drill.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, is asked to contact police. Officers also want to hear from anyone offered these items of stolen property for sale.

Police are also urging workers to remove any tools from vehicles left parked overnight to help prevent further thefts
