Indecent exposure in Blyth

Police are appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure in Blyth.

It happened on Monday, November 28, at 4.40pm behind Blyth Rugby Club in the alley running between Banbury Close and Plessey Road.

Two teenage girls were walking down the alleyway when they were approached by a man who indecently exposed himself to them. The girls were shocked and ran off and reported the incident.

The man is described as white aged 45-55 years old, 5 feet 5" tall wearing a cream coloured long sleeved jacket and light blue jeans.

Officers are treating this as an isolated incident and there are additional officers on patrol in the area to reassure local people.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone who saw what happened or who recognises the man is asked to contact officer.
