Scroll board stolen from Berwick bridge

Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of an information Scroll board from a bridge in Berwick

It happened overnight between 5pm on Tuesday, December 20, and 9am on Wednesday, December 21 at the Royal Border Bridge on the riverside in Tweedmouth.

Offenders pulled the metal information sign from the post and stole it.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, is asked to contact police. Officers also want to speak to anyone who may be offered this item for sale.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting reference number 364 of 21/12/16 or ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
