Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was bitten by a dog in Seaton Delaval.

It happened at 12.25pm on Saturday, January 21 when a 32-year-old man was cycling down the old Mineral line between Laverock Hall and Seaton Delaval. The dog owner had two Doberman dogs and one attacked the cyclist biting him on the leg causing a puncture wound. The dog owner asked if he was alright before walking off towards Seaton Delaval.
