Cars broken into

Police are apealing for witnesses after two cars were broken into in Sunderland.

The thefts happened around 8pm on Saturday, March 18, in St Bedes Terrace. The windows were smashed by a brick, a bag was stolen from one of the cars.

The offender is described as wearing black hoody which had red on the back and was riding a pedal bike.

Officers are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for witnesses.
