Vehicle crimes in Sunderland

Police are appealing for witnesses to two vehicle crimes in Sunderland in June. 

One theft from a parked car in Sunderland which happened overnight on Halifax Place in Sunderland between 9pm on Tuesday, June 13 and 8.15am on Wednesday, June 14.

Thieves entered the unlocked green Vauxhall Zafira and stole a wallet, cash, a sat nav and bank cards. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 0408 14/06/17.   

Police are also appealing for witnesses following a two-in-one burglary in Sunderland when a car was stolen.

It happened at an address in Park Lea Road on Wednesday, June 14, between midnight and 8am. Thieves entered the porch area and removed car keys, which they then used to steal a parked car, an orange BMW, which was later recovered. 

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 101 quoting reference 239 of 14/06/17.
