Are you confident your business is cyber safe?
If not, then an upcoming free event could prove vital to protecting your company from a cyber-based attack.
While it is easy enough to recognise an unlocked door or window, it is not always as easy to respond to hidden vulnerabilities in computer systems.
The North East Special Operations Unit (NERSOU) have teamed up with local police forces – including Northumbria Police – to deliver a series of cyber breakfasts.
These business events are completely free for businesses to attend, and tickets are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
The events will not only show businesses how they can be vulnerable to a cyber-attack, by demonstrating a live hack, but we will also see the launch of the new vulnerability assessment service. This gives an overview of a company’s ICT weaknesses – so they can be fixed before the cyber criminals find them.
The first event is being held at St James’ Park, Newcastle, on Wednesday, February 7, 8.30-10am. Register for free at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cyber-breakfast-tickets-41940751918
The second event is being held at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland, on Friday, March 16, 8.30-10am. Register for free at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cyber-breakfast-tickets-41940869269
