Car damaged in Broomhill

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage to a car in North Broomhill.

It happened on Thursday, December 22, between 11.20pm and 11.25pm to a car parked in Warkworth Terrace in Northumberland.

Offenders in a vehicle have approached the car, got out and thrown an unknown corrosive substance over it, causing approximately £500 worth of damage.

The offending vehicle is believed to have had two men inside and drove off in the direction of Red Row.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, is asked to contact police.
