Fencing stolen from farm

Police are appealing for witnesses after fencing was stolen from a Northumberland farm.

It happened at Widdrington Farm, Castle Garth, Widdrington, in Morpeth overnight between 10pm on Wednesday, January 18, and 2.30am on Thursday, January 19. Approximately 20 rolls of high tension barbed wire were stolen and the offenders made off unseen.

Police are appealing for witnesses, anyone who was in the area and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, is asked to contact police. Officers also want to hear from anyone who may be offered the fencing for sale.
